Bell Reopens After Fatal Motorcycle Crash - Traffic News Story ...

PHOENIX -- Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash with a pickup truck Monday night at Bell Road and 43rd Avenue.

Police said motorcyclist Rick Murry, 58, was headed west on Bell Road when the pickup pulled out in front of him.

Murray was not wearing a helmet and was killed.

Police have not released the name of the 22-year-old driver of the pick-up, but suspect he may have been drinking; however, test results are not expected back for several days.

The intersection was reopened about five hours after the crash.
